DETAIL

XPLORA Spaceborne Receivers

Spaceborne Receivers is a feature available for XPLORA Core specially designed for the space industry, as it enables users a realistic GNSS testing environment for GNSS signals as received on-board satellites.

The Spaceborne Receivers feature enables:
  • Signal Reliability: Verify the reliability of GNSS signal reception, essential for accurate satellite navigation and positioning
  • Space-specific Challenges: Address challenges such as Earth reflected signals and sifelobe signals
  • Quality Assurance: Validate the quality and functionality of GNSS receivers, ensuring it meets specified standards

Simulates:

  • Direct GNSS Signals as received on-board satellites
  • Earth-Reflected Signals as real GNSS signals are reflected from Earth back to orbit
  • Sidelobe Signals from GNSS satellites - essential for receivers equipped with nadir-pointing antennas

How to access these capabilities?

  1. Acquire the XPLORA Core base system (XPL001)
  2. Add the Spaceborne Receivers (XPL001-R03) option to unlock satellite-specific GNSS signal simulation

This option is compatible with XPLORA Core, XPLORA One and XPLORA Pro.
